Support
One channel, and a person on the other end of it: support@winkpilot.app
Please, write in English. Replies usually take a couple of business days. Telling us which iPhone and which iOS version you are on saves a round trip.
Subscriptions and billing
How do I cancel?
Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → WinkPilot → Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, or the next one is charged. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
I cancelled during the free trial. Am I charged?
No, as long as you cancelled before the trial ended. Access continues to the end of the trial.
I want a refund.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us — we have no ability to issue or reverse one. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account and choose the purchase. If you also want to tell us what went wrong, please do; it is how the app gets fixed.
I subscribed but the app still shows the paywall.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. If it still does not resolve, write to us and say which plan you bought and roughly when.
Why is the price different from what I saw somewhere else?
Prices are set per country and shown by the App Store in your own currency before you confirm.
Free credits
How many, and how often?
Five AI replies per device, granted once. They are not a monthly allowance.
I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and my free replies are gone.
That is by design. The grant is tied to the device through Apple's DeviceCheck, so reinstalling does not produce a second one.
I have free credits but a feature is locked.
While you still have free credits, nothing is locked: they cover the whole app — replies, openers, continuing a conversation, switching tone, custom goals and the AI report. The subscription starts where the credits end.
The app says the free tier is unavailable.
That happens on a device where Apple's App Attest or DeviceCheck is not available — a simulator, for example. On a normal iPhone, it usually means a network problem during setup; open the app again later and it retries by itself.
Privacy and your data
What do you hold about me?
No account, so: nothing that identifies you. Your conversations and screenshots live on your phone. Our servers hold counters — how many generations, on which day, what they cost — keyed to an Apple transaction identifier or a device key, never to a name or an email.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a chat in the app and its messages and screenshots go with it. Delete the app and the rest goes too. For anything on our side, write to support@winkpilot.app; we will need the identifier that our records are keyed to, because there is no account to look you up by. The full picture, including the one thing that cannot be deleted, is in the privacy policy.
I want to stop the app sending my chats anywhere.
Open Settings in the app and turn off Allow AI Analysis. Nothing is sent after that, and generating replies stops working until you turn it back on. Chats already on your phone stay where they are.
Where do my screenshots go?
To OpenAI, to generate the reply, where they may be held for up to 30 days before deletion. Never to a database of ours.
Common problems
"This screenshot couldn't be analysed."
The model declined that particular image. Crop it to the part of the conversation you care about, or upload a different screenshot.
The reply came back in the wrong language.
The language of the replies follows the setting in the app, not the screenshot. Check Settings → Language.
The report is empty.
Open the chat and tap Run. A report is generated on request, not automatically.
I am not getting the reminders about my free replies.
They need notification permission. Check iOS Settings → Notifications → WinkPilot, and the toggle in the app's own Settings.
Daily limit reached.
That is a technical ceiling against automated abuse — a stolen token or a script hammering the service. It sits far above anything a person can reach by using the app normally, so if you saw it, something is wrong on our side or on yours: tell us what you were doing and we will look.
Reporting misuse
If someone is using WinkPilot to harass you, or you believe the app is being used to contact a minor, write to support@winkpilot.app with what you can share. The Terms of Use prohibit both, and we act on reports.
